Stellantis and Samsung SDI officially opened their second joint battery plant in Kokomo, Indiana, adding 34 GWh of annual capacity.
The facility will supply cells for Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler EV models through the end of the decade.
Combined with the first plant, the partners now employ more than 2,800 workers in Indiana.
