We tested every major EV charging network across 500 charging sessions to find out which ones actually work when you need them.
Rankings
1. Tesla Supercharger (95% reliability) — Still the gold standard. Now open to all EVs via NACS adapter. Fast, reliable, well-maintained.
2. Electrify America (82% reliability) — Significant improvement from 2024. New stations are reliable, but older ones still have issues.
3. ChargePoint (78% reliability) — Massive network but quality varies wildly since stations are independently owned.
4. EVgo (76% reliability) — Good urban coverage but limited highway presence.
5. Blink (61% reliability) — Frequently broken or extremely slow. Avoid if alternatives exist.
